My First Post: Facebook

Naturally my first post would be about Facebook. It is one of the fastest growing and most accessible social-networking sites of today. Unfortunately I'm not writing this post to talk about how great Facebook is. I am writing this post to say how disappointed I am in the people on Facebook. Facebook is supposed to be about making connections with your friends and family and colleagues. But people still manage to be catty little sub-humans. I mean it's ridiculous. Just who are these people being catty with any how. Facebook was not created so that you could compare who has the most friends on Facebook. That's why it used to specifically ask you how you knew that person before you added them or they added you. So in theory these people are either arguing and being nasty with their first cousin, or they abused their Facebook privileges and just added people for the heck of it.There bad. Here is some advice about Facebook: don't add people that you don't know, and certainly don't add people that you don't like. If you just add anybody, don't get pissy when some of their comments show up in your feed. The word "DUH" comes to mind. But some people will always find some way to be catty.
And then again there are those people who will post absolutely anything on Facebook. I don't know about everybody else, but I am friends with my family, friends, teachers, colleagues, and boss on Facebook. So basically all the people who know me on a personal level. I am sure that your boss does not want to know how well-endowed you are. Or for that matter, I am sure much of the world doesn't want to know either. And then there are those people who simply have no discretion about their personal business. I mean the world, or all the people that you are friends with on Facebook, doesn't really care who you have "beef" with. That's really dumb and childish to cuss people out over Facebook. Isn't that what cell phones on public transportation are for.
Lastly, there are those people who post those really skanky, inappropriate pictures on Facebook. Odds are most of your family and friends already know what a whore you are, there is no need to remind them. Some of those people are so desperate for some attention from their audience of their sexual preference, that they will post any picture on the web. Goodness gracious. This is Facebook, not a local dating site. Please be considerate of why many others are currently on the site. And don't think that I'm just talking about girls. Men's so called racy pictures are too much as well. I mean what is so impressive about your chest. The same chest that everybody sees when it gets above 70 degrees outside. It is less like a private show, and more like a public spectacle.
Get it together my Facebook people. I know that I am not perfect either, but come on.
